Obverse description The Guernsey coat of arms, featuring three passant leopards arranged vertically on a shield, is displayed centrally in the field, surmounted by the legend GUERNESEY arching along the upper periphery. Below the shield, a tied laurel wreath frames the lower portion of the design. The composition is rendered in a bold, relief style characteristic of early twentieth-century British colonial coinage, with a plain field surrounding the central device.
