| Descrição do anverso | The obverse is printed in red-orange and dark brown on a cream ground, with a beige guilloche underprint at the four corners each bearing the denomination '75 Pf.' At centre, a large red rectangular vignette contains the prancing white horse of Brunswick (the Saxon Steed), framed by a dark crosshatch-patterned panel to the left bearing the denomination '75 / Pf.' in bold white numerals, and a text panel to the right. Above the central vignette runs the bold Gothic legend 'Braunschweiger Notgeld', and below, the issuing authority 'Braunschweigische Staatsbank' with the place and date 'Braunschweig, den 1. Mai 1921' and a manuscript signature. The text panel reads that the note is accepted as payment by all state treasuries and loses its validity on 1 May 1923; artist credits 'Günther' and 'Clausen' appear at the lower left and right of the central vignette respectively. |
