| Beschrijving voorzijde | The crowned royal arms of Portugal occupy the central field, displaying the traditional quartered escutcheon with the five quinas (blue shields bearing five white bezants in saltire) arranged in a cross pattern, encircled by the bordure of castles. The shield is surmounted by an ornate royal crown.
