Opmerkingen

Transnistria's monetary history is compressed and strange. The Transnistrian Republican Bank began issuing its own currency in 1993 following the breakaway republic's brief but bloody 1992 war with Moldova, and this 1994 series reflects a denomination already showing the strain of severe inflation — 5,000 roubles was a practical, everyday value for only a short time before higher denominations were required.

The "Printed: 30.04.1945" date in the catalog data almost certainly refers to something unrelated to the press run — likely a misattributed field or database artifact. No banknote issued in 1994 was printed in April 1945.
