Obverse description Portrait vignette of Sun Yat-sen at left, set within a guilloche underprint in red and green tones. The denomination 伍百圓 is printed in large Chinese characters at centre, with serial number panels at upper left and upper right. The date inscription in Chinese characters appears at the foot of the note, and corner panels repeat the denomination in Chinese script.
