| Описание аверса | Central design features the official commemorative logo of the Colombo Municipal Council 150th Anniversary, incorporating a view of Colombo Town Hall with the dates 1865 and 2015 flanking the upper portion of the logo. Below the central motif, three lines of trilingual text read සහජීවනියේ අසිරිය in Sinhala, சகவாழ்வின் ஆச்சர்யம் in Tamil, and MARVEL OF COHESION in Latin script. The large numeral 150 appears prominently at the bottom of the central design, accompanied by the word සංවත්සරය in Sinhala, ஆண்டுநிறைவு in Tamil, and ANNIVERSARY in Latin script.
