A large ornate oval cartouche at centre bears the bank's monogram 'B / E de Ch' in bold letterpress. The denomination '500' appears in large white numerals within elaborate guilloche rosettes at left and right, with red serial numbers printed above; the issuer's title runs across the top border and 'QUINIENTOS PESOS / VALOR ORO NACIONAL' is set in a panel at the base, above the signature line. |
