Obverse description Brown on orange underprint, this provisional issue carries an overprint of the new Banco Central de Chile authority over the earlier P#69 design. A seated allegorical woman with shield is positioned at right, while a second reclining female figure occupies the left vignette. The overprint text identifies the issuing bank and the dual denomination in both pesos and condores.
Obverse lettering BANCO CENTRAL DE CHILE Cincuenta Condores República de Chile Vale por QUINIENTOS PESOS ORO Convertibles en Oro conforme a la lei SANTIAGO 10 de Diciembre de 1925 Billete Provisional. IMP. FISCAL - CHILE
(Translation: Central Bank of Chile Fifty Condores Republic of Chile Five Hundred Pesos Convertible in gold according to the law Santiago December 10, 1925 Provisional banknote.)
Reverse description Printed in black and olive, the reverse is dominated by a central guilloche medallion bearing the large numeral '500', framed by intricate lathe-work and flanked by two rectangular vignettes each enclosing a standing allegorical female figure — one to the left holding flowers and one to the right playing a violin. The denomination 'QUINIENTOS PESOS' appears in a curved banner at the base, with 'REPUBLICA DE CHILE' arching across the top.
