| Obverse description | Central field features a composite industrial and agricultural vignette: an oil derrick and refinery complex rendered in the lower centre, flanked at right by two ears of wheat rising from the lower field, and at left by a stylized crane or industrial structure. The denomination '۵۰ ریال' (50 Rials) is inscribed in large Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals at centre.
