Obverse description Green and red Notgeld vignette in a triptych architectural composition, with two crowned medieval rulers standing in Romanesque arched niches flanking a central stone tablet. The left figure is identified as Heinrich II (1002–1024) and the right as Heinrich III (1039–1056), each rendered in full-length robes with sceptres. The central panel bears the denomination "50 Pf" above the issue date "Allstedt, d. 1. Oktober 1921" and a facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister beneath the legend "Notgeld der Stadt Allstedt"; the header inscription "DIE TAUSENDJÄHRIGE STADT" arches across the top in bold Gothic lettering.
