A bold diamond-shaped guilloche panel in dark green and black contains the large white numeral '50', below which the denomination 'PFENNIG' is set in letterpress. The issuer inscription 'STADT KÖLN 1922' appears across the top, with the voucher legend 'GUTSCHEIN ÜBER' immediately below; a red circular official seal of the city of Cologne is applied to the lower left, accompanied by a handwritten signature of the Oberbürgermeister and a printed date of 12 January 1922. |
