| Descripción del anverso | Bicolour Notgeld note in dark navy blue and ochre, with a horizontal vignette divided into two architectural panels: at left, a baroque manor house set among trees; at right, the twin-towered Romanesque west façade of Corvey Abbey. A central cartouche framed by floral and foliate ornament carries the serial number in red, the redemption clause and date of issue in Gothic script, and the countersignature of Der Magistrat. The heading 'CORVEY 822–1922' in decorative lettering spans the upper centre, with the denomination '50 Pf.' rendered in large ornamental numerals at lower left and in script at lower right. |

| Descripción del reverso | Bicolour reverse in dark navy blue and ochre, centred on an oval portrait vignette of the lyric poet August Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben, born near Höxter, with his name inscribed around the oval border. Two classically rendered allegorical male figures flank the portrait, each holding a blank pennant. A bold arched banner at the top carries the legend 'DEUTSCHLAND DEUTSCHLAND ÜBER ALLES', referencing the national anthem whose text Hoffmann authored, while the denomination '50 Pf.' in large ornamental type and the legend 'NOTGELD DER STADT HÖXTER' in block capitals occupy the lower panel, with the printer's imprint in small ochre type at the foot. |
