A validity clause in Gothic script along the lower margin reads "Dieser Gutschein verliert seine Gültigkeit einen Monat nach erfolgter öffentlicher Bekanntmachung. Kronach, im Jahre 1921. | Описание оборотной стороны | The reverse is dominated by a central vignette of the Kronach municipal coat of arms — a quartered shield bearing three red roses and two crowns with a white rose — set within an ornate oval cartouche and flanked by two classically rendered male figures rendered in anatomical Jugendstil style. Decorative scroll and foliage patterns fill the lateral panels, each containing a red "50" numeral in an oval medallion. "Kronach" is inscribed in Gothic blackletter at the top centre, with "fünfzig" at upper left and right and "Pfennig" at lower left and right; the artist's signature "F. SCHWARZ" appears at the lower centre. |
