A legend panel on the left margin enumerates ten landmarks identified by letters A through K. The town name 'Hoym i/Anhalt' appears in a bold Gothic header at top, flanked by denomination numerals '50' in each corner, with a diamond-pattern guilloche border framing the entire note. At the base, the Gutschein serial number, validity clause, issue date '17.5.1921,' and the magistrate's facsimile signature 'Buckstein' are printed, with the printer's imprint 'Louis Koch, Halberstadt' at the foot. |

A banner across the top carries the civic motto 'Aufrecht, Einig, Treu, Redlich und Standhafft — Das gewinnt und erhält Leut und Landschaft.'
