| Obverse description | Printed in olive-green on cream paper, the obverse carries a central panoramic vignette of old Hoym circa 1700, captioned on a banner scroll 'Das alte Hoym i. J. 1700.' A legend panel on the left margin enumerates ten landmarks identified by letters A through K. The town name 'Hoym i/Anhalt' appears in a bold Gothic header at top, flanked by denomination numerals '50' in each corner, with a diamond-pattern guilloche border framing the entire note. At the base, the Gutschein serial number, validity clause, issue date '17.5.1921,' and the magistrate's facsimile signature 'Buckstein' are printed, with the printer's imprint 'Louis Koch, Halberstadt' at the foot. |
