In the foreground, a helmeted Allied soldier advances in combat posture, armed with a rifle, rendered in bold high relief against a gold-plated field. Behind him, a second soldier takes aim, while the background depicts landing craft, a warship, airborne paratroopers descending by parachute, transport aircraft, and a tank, evoking the full scale of the amphibious assault. The legend D-DAY 80 with a central star appears prominently across the upper field in large relief lettering, with barbed wire motifs above.
