背面描述 Plain pale buff paper reverse printed entirely in dark blue typography, without vignette or ornamental border. The text sets out the legal basis for the issue, citing the town council resolution of 8 March 1920, the six-month circulation period from 1 March to 15 September 1920, and the municipality's full liability guarantee. A redemption notice and an anti-counterfeiting warning 'Nachahmungen strafbar' appear in the lower portion, followed by the authority line 'Der Gemeinderat' in bold, and the printer's imprint at foot.

备注

Schrems is a small market town in the Waldviertel district of Lower Austria, and this note is a product of the severe coinage shortage that followed Austria's defeat in the First World War. The new republican government could not supply enough small-denomination coin to meet everyday transactional needs, and hundreds of Austrian municipalities — Schrems among them — printed their own Notgeld to fill the gap. F. Berger in Horn was a regional printer that handled commissions for several Waldviertel communities during this period.

The Jaksch/Pick suffix "IIa" indicates a specific paper or color variant within the 50 Heller issue, worth distinguishing from the other states of this type.
