Surrounding the vignette, the text is laid out in two flanking columns of Gothic blackletter script conveying the redemption conditions of the voucher, with a decorative border of stylised ornamental motifs at the foot of the design and the year '1920' repeated twice in the lower corners within geometric cartouches.
