| Obverse description | Printed in terracotta-brown on cream paper, the obverse is divided into a central text panel flanked by two landscape vignettes: at left, a view of Marienstein castle with caption 'MARIENSTEIN', and at right, a vignette of the former Pfleghaus of Neufelden with a caption noting its former state. The denomination '50 Heller' appears in large Gothic script at centre-top, with '50' rendered in large white numerals against the solid terracotta corners at left and right. An ornamental border composed of stylised interlocking chain and dot motifs frames the entire design, with the issuer and date '1920' inscribed in a cartouche at the foot of the central panel. |
