正面描述	Intaglio-engraved vignette centred on two women in traditional dress, with a mosque and architectural elements in the middle ground, and a dignified elder male figure in embroidered robes and red fez occupying the right foreground. Denomination numeral "50" appears in coral-red at upper left and upper right, with the issuer's title in a decorative cartouche at top. Two manuscript signatures appear at right, attributed to Le Président and Le Directeur Général, above the denomination legend "CINQUANTE FRANCS" in large letters at the base.

备注	The Institut d'Émission de l'Afrique Occidentale Française et du Togo was established in 1955 to replace the Banque de l'Afrique Occidentale as the currency authority for French West Africa and Togo — giving this note the distinction of belonging to one of the shortest-lived issuing institutions in the region, as political independence movements would fragment the currency zone within a few years. Robert Armanelli's engraving work for the Banque de France appears across multiple colonial issues of this period, the same hands producing notes for territories soon to become separate sovereign states.
