Описание лицевой стороны	Intaglio-engraved vignette centred on two women in traditional dress, with a mosque and architectural elements in the middle ground, and a dignified elder male figure in embroidered robes and red fez occupying the right foreground. Denomination numeral "50" appears in coral-red at upper left and upper right, with the issuer's title in a decorative cartouche at top. Two manuscript signatures appear at right, attributed to Le Président and Le Directeur Général, above the denomination legend "CINQUANTE FRANCS" in large letters at the base.

An anti-counterfeiting legal notice in French is printed in a panel at lower right.
