Obverse description Intaglio-engraved vignette centred on two women in traditional dress, with a mosque and architectural elements in the middle ground, and a dignified elder male figure in embroidered robes and red fez occupying the right foreground. Denomination numeral "50" appears in coral-red at upper left and upper right, with the issuer's title in a decorative cartouche at top. Two manuscript signatures appear at right, attributed to Le Président and Le Directeur Général, above the denomination legend "CINQUANTE FRANCS" in large letters at the base.

Reverse description Central intaglio vignette of a bare-chested male figure holding a large bunch of bananas, set against a lush background of banana palms and foliage rendered in blue-green tones. The issuer's title appears in a cartouche at the top, flanked by the numeral "50" at either corner, while a hexagonal watermark reserve is placed to the right of centre. An anti-counterfeiting legal notice in French is printed in a panel at lower right.
