| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large, highly detailed fingerprint motif dominates the central field, rendered in fine incuse lines against a polished background, symbolizing the identity and resilience of the Kuwaiti people following liberation. Encircling the fingerprint is a decorative border of arabesque ornamental devices, with bilingual legends in Arabic and Latin script. The Arabic inscription occupies the lower portion of the border, invoking a prayer for martyrs and prisoners, while 'State of Kuwait' and 'دولة الكويت' appear at the upper periphery. The date '1996' is inscribed at the base of the design in Western numerals flanked by decorative elements. |
