| Obverse description | The State seal of Kuwait is centrally positioned in the field, surrounded by two Quranic verses rendered in Arabic script: one along the upper border and one along the lower border. Above the seal, the occasion is inscribed in Arabic, and below it in English, commemorating the Fifth Anniversary of Liberation on 26 February 1996.
