Surrounding the central motif are elements of Her Majesty's Royal insignia alongside sprigs of Australia's floral emblem, the golden wattle (Acacia pycnantha). Floral motifs referencing the aromatic oils used in the Coronation anointing — including neroli, jasmine, rose, and cinnamon — are incorporated into the decorative surround. The royal cypher EIIR appears in the field, with the denomination 50 and the commemorative legend completing the design. |
