The left margin carries a caduceus vignette inscribed 'COMMERCE' and the right a nautical emblem inscribed 'NAVIGATION', with the denomination panel '50 CENTIMES' printed in bold letterpress across the centre, overlaid by a red guilloche underprint watermark numeral, two facsimile signatures below, and the year '1920' in a box at the foot. |
