Description de l’avers	The obverse displays the Venezuelan national coat of arms at center, comprising a quartered shield with a sheaf of wheat, crossed flags and weapons, a running horse, and a river landscape, surmounted by a crest of tropical foliage and cornucopia. The shield is flanked by an olive branch to the left and a palm branch to the right, tied at the base with a ribbon inscribed LIBERTAD, and two scrolls bearing the dates 19 DE ABRIL 1810 and 5 DE JULIO 1811. The circular legend ESTADOS UNIDOS DE VENEZUELA runs along the upper periphery, while the lower field carries the weight specification Gs. 12,500, the mint year, and the fineness LEI 835, separated by raised dots. The design is executed in a fine neoclassical engraving style, enclosed within a beaded border.

Description du revers	The reverse presents a bare, laureate-free left-facing bust of Simón Bolívar, rendered in high relief with finely engraved hair and strong classical profile, occupying the central field. The legend BOLÍVAR is inscribed along the left periphery and LIBERTADOR along the right, both following the curvature of the beaded border. Below the truncation, flanked by a small star on each side, appears the engraver's signature BARRE, with the Paris Mint mark A positioned at the lower right near the border. The portrait is executed in the neoclassical style characteristic of Désiré-Albert Barre's work for the Monnaie de Paris, with a plain, unadorned field providing strong contrast to the effigy.
