A large outlined letter 'A' in blue occupies the central underprint field within an arched guilloche ground, flanked by ornate intaglio scrollwork vignettes; the series and serial number designations appear twice within the central area. The kanji 軍票 (military scrip) is set within a framed cartouche at the bottom centre. |
