| Popis líce |
Left-facing truncated bust of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, first President of the Czechoslovak Republic, rendered in high relief with fine sculptural modelling of facial features including a distinctive goatee beard. The effigy is positioned centrally within the field, occupying the majority of the flan. A circular legend in Latin script runs along the upper and lower periphery, interrupted by raised dots as word separators. The lower arc of the legend, set in incuse lettering, identifies the subject's title across two lines within the field beneath the portrait. |

| Popis rubu |
Five winged angelic figures — sokols (falcons) in allegorical form — rendered in vigorous high relief, arranged dynamically around a raised central medallion bearing the denomination. The figures are depicted in various poses of flight and movement, their outstretched wings and flowing drapery filling the entire field in an expressively sculpted composition. The central raised disc contains the numeral '5' above the legend 'SOKOLŮ' in bold incuse lettering. The overall design reflects the Art Nouveau aesthetic prevalent in early Czechoslovak coinage patterns. |
