| Reverse description | The reverse is executed in deep purple and orange-red on cream paper, centred on a large ornate baroque cartouche of scrolling acanthus foliage and engine-turned guilloche work. Within the cartouche, the denomination text 'FÜNF SCHILLING' is rendered in bold orange-red intaglio lettering against a fine lathe-work background. Flanking oval panels to the left and right each bear the numeral '5' above the word 'SCHILLING' in orange-red, and the ghost image of the obverse lettering is visible through the paper as show-through from the printed face. |
