| Descrizione del rovescio | Printed entirely in violet, the reverse is dominated by a central intaglio vignette of a quetzal bird perched atop a classical column pedestal, flanked by architectural pilasters and fine guilloche work. A large ornate medallion at left carries the Roman numeral "V" within layered lathe-work, while a corresponding medallion at right encloses the numeral "5". The denomination "CINCO QUETZALES" appears in a panel at the base of the central vignette, with the printer's imprint "WATERLOW & SONS LIMITED, LONDRES" below. |
