D.T.S. Werke Krauschwitz was a German industrial firm that issued notgeld tokens during the economic disruptions of the early Weimar period, when small-denomination coinage disappeared from circulation almost entirely. Factory-issued pfennig tokens of this type were redeemable only at company-affiliated stores or canteens, effectively tying workers' purchasing power to their employer.
