Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse presents a bold allegorical composition dominated by a vertical lance or pike rising through the center of the field, with a crescent-shaped cross-guard, evoking the traditional Artigas battle standard. Two dramatically billowing flag panels flank the lance on either side, rendered with a textured stippled surface to convey fabric in motion, their outer edges sweeping toward the rim. Across the lower central field, a raised horizontal band bears the patriotic motto LIBERTAD O MUERTE in bold incuse Latin lettering. The overall composition is dynamic and heraldic in character, filling the field with strong relief contrasts between the smooth flag surfaces and the textured ground.
