Obverse description The obverse features a large central circular hole, around which radiates a stylized olive wreath rendered in low relief. Encircling the wreath, the name of the territory appears in three scripts: PALESTINE in Latin characters at the top, flanked by the Hebrew פלשתינה (א״י) to the left and the Arabic فلسطين to the right. The date of issue appears below the central hole, expressed in both Western Arabic numerals and Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals, separated by the olive wreath motif. A beaded inner border frames the central hole, while a fine milled rim encloses the entire design.
