To the left, the Arabic-script legend 'Türkiye Cumhuriyeti' (Republic of Turkey) is inscribed in an elaborate calligraphic tughra-style composition. The four-digit Arabic-numeral date appears below the inscription. The coin border is defined by a raised inner ring of fine beading. |
