| Obverse description | Within a central circular raised field, the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, diademed and wearing a pearl necklace and drop earring, after the Raphael Maklouf portrait. The legend 'ELIZABETH II' arcs along the left border of the circle, 'NIUE' appears at top centre, and 'FIVE DOLLARS' arcs along the right border, all in raised Latin lettering. The date '2015' is inscribed below the effigy at the base of the circle, with '70 g 999 FINE SILVER' further below in the rectangular field. The overall rectangular flan features rounded corners with a brushed, matte silver surface surrounding the polished central medallion. |

This is the fifteenth and final piece in a fifteen-coin series issued by Niue reproducing Klimt's 1907–08 painting in segmented form — a format that became fashionable among Pacific island issuers in the early 2010s as a vehicle for high-relief colored bullion. Niue's coin programs are administered through the New Zealand Mint, which handles the technical production while Niue provides the issuing authority under a longstanding arrangement tied to its status as a self-governing state in free association with New Zealand.
Klimt completed the original oil-and-gold-leaf canvas for the Vienna Secession's Kunstschau exhibition in 1908, where it was immediately purchased by the Austrian state. It has not left the Belvedere collection since.
