| Reverse description | The domed reverse, designed by Adam Ball, presents a dramatic commemorative scene celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing. In the lower field, a finely detailed effigy of an astronaut in a full pressure suit stands on the textured lunar surface, with bootprints visible at his feet and the Apollo Lunar Module depicted to the right in precise relief. Above, dominating the upper field, a large pad-printed colorized globe of the Earth — with the Australian continent prominently visible — is suspended against the convex black nickel-plated sky, conveying the perspective of the Moon looking back toward Earth.
