The circular legend around the effigy reads '5 DOLLARS · CHARLES III · 2024 · COOK ISLANDS ·', with the engraver's initials 'DT' also present. |

| Popis rubu | The reverse presents an evocative composition celebrating the legends of the American Wild West. At centre, the infamous 'Dead Man's Hand' — the two-pair poker hand of aces and eights — is depicted alongside a reference to the No. 10 Saloon in Deadwood, the site of Wild Bill Hickok's murder. Flanking the central motif are portrait representations of three iconic frontier figures: Billy the Kid, Wild Bill Hickok, and Calamity Jane. A .45 calibre cartridge, symbolising the bullet that ended Hickok's life, is also featured as part of the composition. Inscriptions identify the saloon, the calibre of the weapon, and the hand itself. |
