A circular guilloche vignette to the right displays the bank's coat of arms with a sailing ship, and the date TORONTO, 2ND JANUARY, 1917 appears at lower centre. Large ornamental V numerals appear in each upper corner and lower corner, with serial numbers in red flanking the central vignette. |
