Beschrijving voorzijde The Serbian state coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a crowned double-headed eagle with a shield on its breast bearing the Cross of Serbia and four firesteels. The crown above features a flat bottom on the topmost element, characteristic of the second coat of arms type. The mantling flanks the shield on either side. The bilingual circular legend reads 'РЕПУБЛИКА СРБИЈА' and 'REPUBLIKA SRBIJA' around the upper periphery, while the issuer's abbreviation 'НБС' and 'NBS' appears along the lower periphery, separated by raised dots.

Beschrijving keerzijde A detailed architectural rendering of Krušedol Monastery, a Serbian Orthodox monastery of the Fruška Gora region, dominates the central field, depicted in a three-quarter frontal view showing its distinctive dome surmounted by a cross, arched windows, and baroque façade. To the left of the monastery, the large numeral '5' is rendered in bold relief, with the name 'КРУШЕДОЛ' inscribed vertically along the left inner border. The bilingual denomination legend 'ДИНАРА•DINARA' curves along the upper periphery, and the date '2012' appears in the lower exergue.
