Obverse description The Serbian state coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a crowned double-headed eagle with a shield on its breast bearing the Cross of Serbia and four firesteels. The crown above features a flat bottom on the topmost element, characteristic of the second coat of arms type. The mantling flanks the shield on either side. The bilingual circular legend reads 'РЕПУБЛИКА СРБИЈА' and 'REPUBLIKA SRBIJA' around the upper periphery, while the issuer's abbreviation 'НБС' and 'NBS' appears along the lower periphery, separated by raised dots.
