The King wears the Imperial State Crown rendered in fine detail, with fleurs-de-lis and arched bands clearly delineated. The engraver's initials 'PM' appear in small letters below the truncation of the bust. The surrounding legend reads GEORGIUS VI DEI GRA. REX ET IND. IMP., disposed along the full circumference of the coin within a beaded border.
