| Opis rewersu | Printed in green and pink, the reverse carries a central vignette of a seated allegorical female figure accompanied by a sailing ship, evoking maritime trade and colonial commerce. The numeral of value appears on both left and right within panels enclosed by elaborate embroidered guilloche borders. The overall design is executed in a restrained two-colour letterpress and intaglio combination consistent with Bradbury Wilkinson production of the period. |
