| Descrizione del dritto | Half-length effigy of Duke Johan facing slightly to the right, wearing a high ruff collar with a folded band draped over the right shoulder, rendered in the elaborate court dress of the early seventeenth century. The ducal figure is contained within a double-line inner circle, with two concentric lines of Latin legend occupying the surrounding annular field. The portrait is executed in a bold, relief style characteristic of contemporary Swedish hammered coinage. The date 1614 appears within the outer legend. The overall composition reflects the formal heraldic portraiture conventions of the period. |

Within the legend band, at the uppermost position, appears the radiant Tetragrammaton (יהוה) in Hebrew characters, a distinctive feature of Swedish coinage of this era.
