| Reverse description | Central design depicts the Parliament building of the Republic of South Ossetia rendered in detailed relief, with a flagpole bearing a flag rising above the roofline. Behind the building, radiating sunrays fan outward across the upper field, symbolising independence and sovereignty. Superimposed at the base of the building is the numeral '30' within a wreath, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the declaration.
