The central field carries patriotic letterpress text urging purchase of German goods, flanked below by two circular guild seals — the tanner's (Gerber) to the left and the cloth-maker's (Tuchmacher) to the right — with the city arms in full colour between them, depicting a fortified gateway above a quartered heraldic shield. A facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister appears to the right, and the printer's imprint 'Druck: Johannes Arndt, Jena' runs along the lower margin. |

The Gothic tower and ornate Renaissance stairway portal of the building are rendered in warm ochre and brown tones with fine crosshatching. Denomination shields in yellow and orange bearing '25 Pfg.' appear at the upper left and upper right corners, and the inscription 'Rathaus zu Neustadt a/d Orla' is set in Fraktur along the lower border, with the printer's imprint below the design. |
