The hair falls in wavy tresses behind the neck, exhibiting the high artistic quality characteristic of Syracusan engraving of the Agathoclean period. Behind the head, in the right field, a small oinochoe (jug) serves as a control symbol. The whole is set within a fine beaded border. |
