Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Gunthamund facing right, rendered in the late Roman provincial tradition with bold but somewhat crude hammered relief. The portrait retains stylized facial features characteristic of Vandal coinage, with the diadem visible above the brow. A partial Latin legend encircles the bust in the field, reading D N RX G VNTHA, abbreviated from the royal titulature. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, consistent with hammered silver coinage of this period and mint.
