Baños de la Encina is a small municipality in Jaén province, and like hundreds of Spanish towns during the Civil War, its ayuntamiento issued its own fractional emergency currency when coinage disappeared from circulation entirely after 1936. The Gari Mon reference being incomplete signals this note hasn't been fully catalogued in the standard corpus — not unusual for the smaller Andalusian municipalities, where print runs were tiny, survival rates poor, and documentation scattered across provincial archives that were themselves caught up in the conflict.

The thick card stock is characteristic of many Jaén-area emergency issues, where local printers worked with whatever substrate was on hand.
