Reverse description Central field bearing the legend SCATO within a wreath composed of laurel or olive branches tied at the base, the whole enclosed within the wreath border. The monogram or letters SC are visible at the center of the wreath, consistent with Senatus Consulto authorization on provincial bronze issues. The reverse field shows heavy green and brown patination across an irregularly shaped flan characteristic of hammered Cyrenaican bronze coinage of the Augustan era.
